We hope 2018 has been starting off great to you thus far!

When entering a new year, it is always important for us to reflect on how we can continue to bring thought-provoking and positive content to our platform and readers. We are excited to announce for 2018 and beyond, Unheard Voices will be moving in a new direction. With the ever-changing technology and the way people view content, the new direction of Unheard Voices will be focused on more visual content that will be featured on our Facebook and Youtube Channels. In the re-launch of Unheard Voices TV, the UV team will be producing mini-documentary series on the unsung heroes in our communities, pioneers, and an online tv show interviewing entertainers, entrepreneurs, and beyond. As we move forward into the pre-production phase, we are looking for people to profile and interview for our upcoming shows. To be considered, please email your interest to uvtv@unheardvoicesmag.com

crc Welcome 2018 : Announcements and New Direction! We are also saddened to report that our current Editor-in-Chief, Chenelle R. Covin, will be stepping down to pursue other endeavors effectively Feb 1st. Chenelle will still be a consultant to our shows and provide her insightful and thought-provoking content. Chenelle has been a tremendous asset to the Unheard Voices community. In 2010, Chenelle took the concept her father had of creating a platform for the voiceless in his local community, and cultivated Unheard Voices into a well-respected online publication reaching not only their local community and abroad. Through Chenelle’s contributions, she fostered relationships with other publications, journalists, public relations firms, music labels, and non-profit organizations, to keep Unheard Voices mission of fighting for the voiceless to be heard. Her contributions to Unheard Voices have certainly been unwavering – to facilitating dialogue on social issues on her radio show “Late Night With Chenelle”, partnering with the Adam Bucky James Community Center by creating a communications workshop for her community, developing a showcase, working with celebrities to showcase their community endeavors, to formulating strategic partnerships that have not only helped grow Unheard Voices, but the community she serves.
