Reverend Al Sharpton and HOT 97’s Ebro alongside WBLS’ Ann Tripp will be hosting a Town Hall discussion around police brutality and COVID-19 and its impact on communities of color.

HOT 97 WBLS Town Hall

Joined by various leaders in government, they will tackle the crippling effects COVID-19 has had on communities of color and engage in a critical discussion about police brutality and the need for police reform.

Panelists will include:

  • Yvette Clarke, Congresswoman (NY’s 9th Congressional District)
  • Ruben Diaz, Jr., Bronx Borough
  • President Eric Gonzalez, Brooklyn
  • District Attorney Hakeem Jeffries,

  • Congressional District) & Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus
    Melinda Katz, Queens District Attorney
  • Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Congresswoman (NY’s 14th Congressional District) Nydia
  • Velazquez, Congresswoman (NY’s 7th Congressional District) & Chairwoman of House Small Business Committee

The event will be broadcast on-air Tuesday, June 2nd at 7:00 p.m. on 107.5 WBLS-FM and HOT 97.1, streamed live on WBLS’s Facebook Live, HOT 97’s YouTube Channel, and available to access directly by going to www.wbls.com/townhall
