About Versatile Excell
Along with his environmental changes, Versatile also experienced personal change in his life. He experienced this shift when authorities incarcerated his father, a change that left his mother and the women in his family to raise him.
With the time spent with the many women of his family and the constant stress in his life, Versatile knew he wanted to do better and excel in life.
To rid his stress, he turned to writing poems and other forms of writing to release his pain.
This is when he began to explore and live his talent. Gaining confidence by freestyling over, Shawty Lo’s “Dey Know”, gave Versatile Excell the green light to GO! with pursuing his career in the music business.
He loves music, but he makes it clear that he plans to go beyond being just an artist. He intends to step into the lane of a full‑fledged entertainer while staying HATERPROOF and proudly repping HATERPROOF CERTIFIED.
He’s grateful for any opinion thrown his way but just know that Versatile will stand his ground.
Versatile Excell is defying ignorance, remaining humble, displaying talent, and fostering motivation.
His celebrity is not for himself but for the strengthening of the community. With his recently released mixtape/album: DiVERSity 2: Growth, Versatile presents life’s situations of love, suicide, depression, and good times.
His single, “I Can’t Lose”, speaks volumes to all and the video gives a literal backwards perspective of one going through the situations of life.
Showcasing his influence in the worlds of both hip hop and reggae; Versatile Excell was born to excel. It’s his real last name, it’s with him for life, and he promises to live up to it!
Be sure to have your ear ready for his to be released track “Dead Faces”. What you hear is not what you expect!
